CANCELLATION POLICIES

For all three branches of practice

Dr. Brown is limited in the number of patients she can see daily due to the nature of scheduling a housecall and specialty practice

Last minute cancellations are

• difficult to fill due to logistics of seeing patients in different cities around the valley
• decrease patient care and accessibility for others 
• create open spaces in the schedule that generate additional cost & travel

 CANCELLATION FEES

Please provide greater than 48 hour notice to avoid cancellation fees

48 Hour notice

$50 cancellation fee if notice given between 25-48 h before scheduled appointment

24 Hour notice

$75 cancellation fee if notice given between 13-24 h before scheduled appointment 

12 Hour notice or less/same day

$125 cancellation fee if notice given 12 hours of less of scheduled appointment

Prepaid Acupuncture Packages

Automatically forfeit a treatment visit

No show/not home (same day)

Cancellation fee: $200 and up based on location

Any additional prepaid fees such as urgent care, after hours or additional/extended travel will be forfeited

EXCESSIVE CANCELLATIONS BY ACTIVE CLIENTS POLICY*

Excessive cancellations may result in deposits being required prior to scheduling for all requests, full appointment fee being paid in advance and/or nonrefundable scheduling fees in addition to deposit

EXCESSIVE CANCELLATIONS OF NEW CLIENT REQUEST POLICY*

Please note three consecutive cancellations of the initial appointment request will deactivate request. A nonrefundable scheduling of $100 will be required  when making the third request in addition to the $50 deposit. If the appointment is cancelled for a third time at any time the nonrefundable scheduling fee & deposit are both forfeited and further requests to establish a VCPR will not be granted.
