Veterinarian Client Patient Relationship (VCPR)
What is an Active Patient?
Pets who have had an in-person exam by Dr. Brown within the last twelve months are considered active patients with current VCPR*
If it has been more than 12 months since your pets most recent housecall with Dr. Brown, please submit an appointment request (updated new client form) to reestablish a VCPR. In person exam required. Thank you
*an active VCPR is required by AZ law for continuation of care, prescriptions, telehealth, telemedicine, televet time, etc.

Communication Policies
All virtual forms of communication with Dr. Brown regarding patient care i.e. medical questions, health concerns, treatment plan management, etc. that is not during an in-person appointment is considered TeLeVET Time. TeLeVET Time Fees apply for Dr. Browns virtual time, expertise and heart centered support
- In-person appointments receive one complimentary virtual email follow up from Dr. Brown by submitting the required Online Patient Progress Form within two weeks of appointment date
- Online TeLeVET forms & fees are required to receive email responses from Dr. Brown for all active patient medical questions or health concerns thereafter
- Concierge Subscription is available for advanced doctor communication & support via text/phone

Unlimited Patient Update Forms may be submitted to keep Dr. Brown informed of patient health status & treatment progress (response not included). Dr. Brown will always respond via email during virtual office hours within 7 business days (Tues-Fri) or less pending chosen option below (closed Sat, Sun, Mon & Holidays-additional fees apply).
