 Pet specific questions & vaccine cost estimates require a valid Veterinarian Client Patient Relationship VCPR i.e. in person appointment.  Recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis based on exam & vaccine history, lifestyle, risk & current AAHA/AAFP Vaccine Guidelines & Arizona State Regulations

• Thimerosal free rabies vaccine available by request
• Dr. Brown is unable to accommodate requests for monovalent/single dose puppy vaccine series
• Owner purchased vaccines from feed stores or other third-party sources cannot be administered by Dr. Brown
• Litter exams not available
• Brachycephalic breeds-not accepted for vaccine requests due to respiratory risk if reaction occurs-full service brick & mortar recommended

VACCINE REACTION HISTORY  

Please inform Dr. Brown of any previous vaccine reaction history prior to appointment/administration

• Pretreatment with Benadryl and vaccine separation required for any history of previous vaccine reaction
• Brachycephalic breeds -not accepted due to respiratory risk

Vaccine Titers for Distemper and Parvo 

Two titer options are available for adult dogs via outside lab

• Vaccine Panel by Elisa Ab (Pos or Neg)
• Vaccine Panel by SVN/HI (Quantitative Titer)
• Not available for puppies before or during puppy vaccine series

Rabies Vaccine & Titer Info

Rabies Vaccines are mandated by law for dogs in the state of Arizona

• Rabies vaccines are given every 3 years after initial 1 year vaccine
• Rabies titers are not accepted in lieu of vaccines in the state of Arizona
• Thimerosal free rabies vaccine is available by request
